Description

Aftermarket replacement turbocharger GT2256V CHRA for OM647 Engine, supplied by SYUAN and matched to the OEM part number.

How to confirm this turbocharger fits your engine

Read the identification plate on the original Mercedes-Benz unit and compare the OEM part number, then confirm the engine model and serial from the engine data plate. This unit is presented for OM647 Engine applications. Match on the number rather than the family name, because two units can share a casting but differ in turbine housing A/R, compressor wheel trim or actuator type.

The mechanical interfaces must also line up: exhaust inlet flange bolt pattern, compressor outlet diameter, oil feed and drain positions, and whether the original was wastegated, VNT-controlled or free-floating. SYUAN matches on the OEM number first and the application second, which avoids supplying a unit that bolts on but is calibrated for a different rating.

What to check before ordering

OEM part number from the turbocharger nameplate, plus the compressor and turbine housing cast numbers.
Engine make, model and serial number, and the machine or vehicle model and year.
Boost control type – internal or external wastegate, VNT nozzle ring or free-floating.
Whether the SKU must include an electronic actuator or speed sensor, and its calibration.
Air and oil system condition, and whether the oil feed line will be replaced at installation.

If any number is unreadable, send clear photos of the plate, housings and engine data tag. Our related guides cover frequently asked selection and warranty questions.
